Massage Oils

 
 

All the Massage Oils listed on this page are only for external use.

 

Relaxation Massage Bath Oil

 
   Ingredients:

  1 drop Petitgrain
  4 drops Lavender French
  1 drop Frankincense
  1/2 oz. Massage Oil (unscented)
 
 
This blend may be added to a warm bath (about a capful of the massage oil blend), or, you can blend the essential oils in the
  same proportions and use in one of our Aromatherapy Diffusers.
 
 

Chest Rub

 
   Ingredients:

  2 drops Massage Oil (unscented)
  1 drop Basil Holy
  2 drops Lemon Organic
  1/2 oz Carrier Oil
 
  Mix all ingredients together. You can make your own massage oils by adding 2 to 3% Essential Oil to a vegetable oil (known as carrier oil) base such as Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil or Grape Seed Oil (preferable). Percentage should equal about 2 to 3 drops of Essential Oil per teaspoon of vegetable oil. 
 
 

Uplifting

 
   Ingredients:

  5 drops Geranium
  3 drops Basil Sweet
  2 drops Lime
  5 drops Lemongrass
  1/2 oz Carrier Oil
 
 
Mix all ingredients together. You can make your own massage oils by adding 2 to 3% Essential Oil to a
   vegetable oil (known as carrier oil) base such as Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil or Grape Seed Oil (preferable). Percentage should equal about 2 to 3 drops of Essential Oil per teaspoon of vegetable oil. 
 
 

After Sports Blend

 
 

   Ingredients:

  4 drops Rosemary
  4 drops Juniper Berry
  3 drops Lavender French
  1/2 oz Carrier Oil
 
  Mix all ingredients together. You can make your own massage oils by adding 2 to 3% Essential Oil to a vegetable oil (known as carrier oil) base such as Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil or Grape Seed Oil (preferable). Percentage should equal about 2 to 3 drops of Essential Oil per teaspoon of vegetable oil. 
 
 

Stress Relief

 
   Ingredients:

  4 drops Mandarin Red
  3 drops Lemongrass
  5 drops Bergamot
  4 drops Lavender French
  4 oz Carrier Oil
 
 
Mix all ingredients together. You can make your own massage oils by adding 2 to 3% Essential Oil to a
   vegetable oil (known as carrier oil) base such as Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil or Grape Seed Oil (preferable). Percentage should equal about 2 to 3 drops of Essential Oil per teaspoon of vegetable oil. 

 

Lovers Blend

 
    Ingredients:

  6 drops Sandalwood Australian
  4 drops Rose Morocco Absolute
  1 drop Ylang Ylang I
  1/2 oz Carrier Oil
 
 
Mix all ingredients together. You can make your own massage oils by adding 2 to 3% Essential Oil to a
   vegetable oil (known as carrier oil) base such as Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil or Grape Seed Oil (preferable). Percentage should equal about 2 to 3 drops of Essential Oil per teaspoon of vegetable oil. 
 

Calming

 
   Ingredients:

  5 drops Petitgrain
  5 drops Orange Sweet
  5 drops Ylang Ylang III
  1/2 oz Carrier Oil
 
 

 

Mix all ingredients together. You can make your own massage oils by adding 2 to 3% Essential Oil to a vegetable oil (known as carrier oil) base such as Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil or Grape Seed Oil (preferable). Percentage should equal about 2 to 3 drops of Essential Oil per teaspoon of vegetable oil. 

 

Hot Rock Massage

 
   Ingredients:

  3 drops Sandalwood Australian
  3 drops Patchouli Dark
  8 oz Massage Oil (unscented)
  1 oz Carrier Oil of your choice
 
  This is a spa treatment. Select a large, flat smooth stone, the size of your palm Heat stone in a low temperature oven until warm but not hot. Rub some scented massage oil into the stone and use this heated rock to give your partner a soothing massage. The heat from the stone relaxes and penetrates the muscles. Use up to 15 drops of essential oil per 1 oz. of unscented oil. Start with less drops, you can always add more. Try Sweet Almond, Grape Seed or Apricot Oil.
 

Nail Massage Oil

 
   Ingredients:

  1 vitamin E capsule punctured and squeezed into the bottle
  2 drops Tea Tree Lemon
  2 drops Sandalwood Australian
  2 drops Benzoin Absolute
  2 drops Lavender Absolute
  2 drops Lemon Organic
  4 ml Sweet Almond Carrier Oil
  4 ml Jojoba Carrier Oil
 
  Combine all the ingredients and mix well. (unscented hand lotion or cream may be substituted for the oil base.) Apply 2 drops of this oil to each nail and 4 droops to each hand and massage in. The massage is as important as the blend. It stimulates circulation and relaxes hands that have been busy all day. This blend works equally well on toenails.
