Terms And Conditions Of Silky Scents

Method of payment- We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Master Card American Express and Discover). You may enter them on our secure shopping card and speed up your order. If you are paying by check, it has to be a cashier check or money order payable to : Silky Scents. We do not accept personal checks. If you are paying by a credit card, please send your order and your credit card number through our secure web site.

If you do not wish to place an order through our secured internet site with a credit card, you can print your order after the shipping charge calculations and before entering the credit card information from our website and mail it to us with a money order (Silky Scents only accepts Money Orders issued in the United States. A large number of our customers are using this method to place their orders. You can then send your order along with a money order for the correct amount to the address below.

Order processing- Most orders are processed within 2 to 4 business days after payment is received. We accept orders for the USA, U.S. Territories and all U.S. Military Bases.

U.S. Territory Shipping- Orders for P.O. Box Addresses and Militarily Bases are only shipped via US Post Office. All shipment charges are estimates and may be Adjusted.

Damages- If your merchandise arrives damaged, call the carrier that delivered your package(s) within 24 hours or by the following business day after you received the package to file a damaged merchandise claim. Your order is insured through the carrier. Save all of the packaging until the adjuster has been contacted. We have very few damages considering the quantity that we ship.

If you receive a Damaged Package, you must also file a Damaged Report Form with Silky Scents within 24 hours after you receive the package. (Use the Link Below) :

Please Notice : United Parcel Service (UPS) does not deliver to Post Office Boxes. Please provide a complete street address including apartment or suite number.

Customers authorizes Silky Scents to charge their credit card or bill them an additional $5.00 per package if the following applies :

If the customer provides an address that is deemed incorrect or incomplete by U.S. Post office or the UPS (see note below)

Note : An incomplete address is an address that has an apartment number, suite number, floor or any other pertinent information associated with the address that should have been provided by the customer to insure proper delivery but have been omitted by the customer.

Disclaimer- Since the condition for use, handling, storage, and disposal of these products are beyond Silky Scents control, it is the user's responsibility both to determine safe conditions of these products and assume liability for loss, injury, damage or expense arising out of products improper use.

Caution : All products should be kept out of the reach of children and pets.

2) If any product causes a rash or irritation, discontinue use immediately. If you are pregnant, epileptic, have liver damage, have cancer, asthma or have any other medical problem, use oils only under the proper guidance of a qualified medical doctor. Some oils can cause sensitization or allergic reactions in some individuals. When using a new oil for the first time, do a skin patch on a small area of skin. Place a small amount of the diluted essential oil (never use essential oils undiluted on the skin) on the inside of your elbow and apply a bandage. Wait 24 hours to see if there is any form of reaction. Even if a particular essential oil is not known to cause irritation, this step should not be ignored. Even if an oil does not irritate you, it still can irritate someone else. It is important that you always keep that in mind. Essential oils should not be taken internally. Essential Oils and Aromatherapy do not in any way replace medical care, a physician's consultation or the advice of a health care practitioner.

3) Essential oils are flammable. Please keep them out of the way of fire hazards.
